Alagappa University Online & Distance Education is a state government university established in 1985 by the Government of Tamil Nadu. Eligibility Criteria
For Online Undergraduate Programs (BBA, BCA, B.Com)
- Candidates must have passed 10+2 or an equivalent qualification from a recognized educational board.
- Students awaiting final results may apply provisionally, subject to timely document verification.
For Online Postgraduate Programs (MBA, MCA, M.Com)
- Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree of minimum three (3) years duration from a recognized university.
- A minimum of 50% aggregate marks is required (relaxation applicable for reserved categories per statutory norms).
- Final-year graduating students are eligible to apply on a provisional basis.

Examination Pattern
Alagappa University follows a semester-based examination pattern for its online and distance education programmes. Online programme examinations are conducted through the prescribed online examination system, while distance education examinations are generally held at designated examination centres.
